Our family weekend house is located in Kranjska Gora, a very popular ski resort in the north of Slovenia. It is a year-round destination for adventurers who like to be outdoors and connected with nature. The house was recently renovated in a modern alpine style. It offers everything a modern guest needs for a perfect winter or summer vacation with family or a group of friends. It is located just outside the center of Kranjska Gora, overlooking the river and the golf course in a very quiet area. It offers you the necessary privacy for a relaxing retreat and at the same time is an ideal starting point for your adventure activities.

The alpine-designed house has four floors. You enter a spacious modern living room with a kitchen, a fireplace, a large dining table, comfortable sitting areas and an outdoor terrace. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom can also be used as a second living room. On the third floor is the master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. There is also a sauna and a laundry room in the semi-basement.

Imagine coming in from your hike or skiing and all you want to do is lay down with a cup of Nespresso, tea, or glass of wine in hand with a good book or maybe watch your favorite TV show on Netflix. Or you can jump into a hot sauna first and prepare your body for the next day's adventure. In the warmer months, you can spend the day outside on the sunny terrace overlooking the nearby mountains. This cozy family accommodation offers you the luxury of enjoying your well-deserved time out in nature.

Second Floor

On the second floor of the house there are 3 bedrooms. One of them with a balcony is also a living room or a playroom for children. It has a fireplace, TV and a kitchenette. In the colder months the whole family can gather there and sit in front of the fireplace, enjoy a movie on Netflix, play a game of cards or race a Mario Cart on the Wii Console. In the warmer months you can sit on the balcony terrace and watch the starry sky and the nearest mountains glowing in the moonlight.

On the top floor is a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. A good night's sleep is important to staying healthy, and that's exactly what you'll get in this home. With its natural colours, natural light, and large, spacious bathroom, you'll want to spent here more than 8 hours. After an active day in nature, you can use the tube to soothe aching muscles and simply relax.

What to do?

We chose Kranjska Gora as our second home because it offers everything a family needs when spending active time together. In addition to all kinds of sports activities and good food, you can enjoy many sporting events. In winter you can watch the best skiers in the world competing in the FIS Alpine World Cup, top ski jumpers setting new records on the nearby Planica and elegant cross-country skiers competing in the sprint category. In summer you can join or watch many competitions, from the Red Bull Goni Pony, Red Bull Run to the steep Planica Ski Jump or the Julian Alps Trail Run.
